symfony 1.1 went live just a month or so ago, and in the relatively short history of symfony is somewhat of a revolution. I'm a web developer at a UK university, with an interest in photography. I did a PhD in linguistics at Edinburgh University, although that seems a long time ago now. Yikes! It is a long time ago now...
